A few of our favorite things from 2013.

Rod Steely with Trenton Ducati

We decided to take a look back at 2013 by taking to Twitter to ask some of our favorite porn stars what they’ll remember most about 2013.

Trenton Ducati tells us, “Winning the X-biz, Hot Rod and Grabby Awards all in the same year was humbling. A big thing for me is the ability to spread the #killmeth message and to show that we can all recover from our addictions. Headlining Hustlaballs all over the globe was an honor. I’m thankful every day for an industry that has given me everything.”

Seth Fornea, a favorite ginger go-go dancer and Colt Studios’ newest model loved “Circuit Festival in Barcelona with my partner, Jared LeBlanc, and friend Brett Henrichsen; and moving in with Jared after a year of being long distance.”

Charlie Harding: “Winning ‘Best Daddy’ at the Hookies and ‘Manly Man’ at the Grabby’s made me feel like I was really liked and appreciated for my work! Personally, getting engaged on Valentine’s Day to Scotty Rage was nerve wracking (I asked him) and exciting and wonderful!”

Brandon Jones: “Favorite things of 2013: More and more countries adopting gay marriage and launching MrJonesFilms.com.”

Hookie Award Winner Christopher Daniels: “Good health and good friends and another year of amazing traveling and work opportunities in a field I still love. I’m not quite a tired hooker yet!”

Seth Knight: “Meeting my sexy man Kevin Vlahos and figuring out who I am.”

Dylan Roberts: “All the personal growth I have accomplished.” (Side note: have you seen his body lately? He’s not kidding!)

Bobby Clark, who was one of our favorites when he starred with Logan Vaughn and Alex Graham in More Than Ready, loved “Playstation 4’s release and hitting Delta Gold Medallion status.”

Shane Frost has worked really hard to build Frost Models (an adult film talent agency) from the ground up. “‘13 has been amazing!”

SF-based ginger, Connor Maguire remembers, “This year had the best Burning Man, and porn-wise, I loved being on my first magazine cover.”

Kings of New York 2’s Andrew Stark broke our heart when he told us that he is switching from working in front of the camera to in the office of Men.com and moving to L.A. for it.

This year we lost Wilfried Knight and Arpad Miklos. Liam Magnusson retired along with Tate Ryder (again) and Jake Genesis. We swear this is the last word we will write about Jake’s retirement (this year).

Ben Downe’s favorite thing of 2013 was Lucas Entertainment’s Greece My Hole. “I like my porn with a little bit of world-news realness. The near collapse of Greece and the continuing tensions within the E.U. made for some pent-up sexual energy. Greece may have been a power top at one point, but now he’s flipped and taking it hard. Let‘s just hope 2014 will be a year of balancing world power.”
