Artist/musician Neal Medlyn puts on the last showing of his performance piece based on the music of the Insane Clown Posse that will focus on male bonding activities, flashlight wrestling, terror, face paint, underground Midwestern horror rap, Faygo showers, clown love and whatever other weird stuff Medlyn can dream up. “Fuckin’ all out buck wild behavior is to be expected,” Medlyn says. “The most chaotic fucking phenomenon of the year.”
Even though parties have a high turnover rate in gay New York, when QxBxRx ends its five-year run with a blowout anniversary/finale party tonight, it will leave a big, gaping hole in the gay scene. Tonight, the QxBxRx finale features live performances by QxBxRx vets Making Friendz, People at Parties, Two Tears and Baby Your Baby. DJs Luiza Sa and LGBT spin.
Daniel Nardicio and his cast of nightlife creatures put on a second dance party at the artist collective. Go-go Harder hosts gay aerialists Josh and Ben, a performance by Fya, a slew of go-go boys and beats by DJ Johnny Dynell.
Twig the Wonderkid and Michael T give us freak-flag anthems and glam rock with live performances by The Brats, Fucking Bullshit, late night cabaret by Oscar Wildchilde, special guest DJ set by James David and and free PBR from 11pm–midnight.
