Northern Spy Food Co. is named after a particular variety of apple, but the restaurant itself is actually quite a peach! We strolled over to the East Side one recent weekend and took a bite (or two) out of it and heartily feasted on the fare produced by regional farms and purveyors of artisanal goods. In keeping with its folksy décor (they have wallpaper!), there’s even an old-fashioned general store of sorts in the back where one may purchase such homespun goodies as honey, jams and jellies.
