SCENE + HEARD: Good Times Crew Mum On AC360 But Happy To Celebrate Three Years

Bringing together the East Village, Eastern European kitsch, bearded boys and obscure pop themes may seem like a daunting feat, but as Wednesday night’s third anniversary of Good Times proved, it can be done and with panache, thanks to party's promoters Jimmy Im and Josh Sparber. “We’re back to the themes next week [but] if there is a theme for tonight it’s payinig homage to all of the shit that’s happened the past three years [at Eastern Bloc] like bathroom doors being broken down, people being kicked out, sex and drugs in the bathroom,” said Im. “This line right here [pointing to the line for the bathroom]? Back in the old days they didn’t have to pee but we’ve cleaned up since then,” he revealed.
 
When asked if a certain CNN host who has been romantically linked to the East Village haunt’s owner may be dropping by, we received only a silent negative nod—leading us to believe the gay mafia has the staff keeping things mum about the silver fox.
As the preppy bowties and plaid shirts mixed on the dancefloor Im reflected. “I started the party and brought on Josh a year later," he said.
