For the 26th year, the Black and Blue Festival prepares to light up the night sky in Montreal this week, beginning Wednesday and raging with 17 events all week long.

Under the Stardust theme this year, Black and Blue Festival participants will celebrate under the positive energy of the universe, with brilliant spin-offs for all our extended community, under the glowing autumn moon light ! Further to this positive 2016 special positive theme, the organizers are especially proud to announce, for the first time at the Black and Blue Main Event, one of the global giants of the House music scene, legendary British DJ star Danny Howells of the United Kingdom.
The main event of the Festival, the legendary Black and Blue party will be held in the same room used by the BBCM last year and will present some of the best DJs, performances all night, sound and lighting technology, all in a unique atmosphere. DJs for the main event include:
“Stardust is brilliant!” – It is this sentence launched at a brainstorming meeting with the senior staff of the organizing committee that the idea of creating a 2016 edition where each event would have a theme arising from the main was born,” Chairman Olivier Gagnon told Fugues.com. “This is the thematic representation of what the team BBCM Foundation wants to broadcast as a message through the programming of the Black and Blue Festival in 2016 should return to stardust on our large community to make it shine all its lights, all under a beautiful autumn moon!”
