First Look At "Finding Prince Charming"

The first trailer for Finding Prince Charming is here and we aren’t sure what to think. The original promo pic featuring all the men looks like an ad for Men’s Wearhouse or JoS. A. Bank’s. Like I didn’t know there were so many shades of blue suits. I would have asked the stylist to borrow a suit from Ru’s closet on the Drag Race lot instead. Bright, bold, and gay.

Earlier this week, we introduced you to New York’s only suitor on the show, who from the trailer, seems to go pretty far in the competition as he is featured quite a bit.

The claws sort of come out as these men try to claim the heart of Prince Charming but the whole thing seems pretty tame. Is it bad we want more drama? And maybe less clothes? Get out of those suits and in some jock straps!

We also want some more diversity.

No Asian men are featured in the season, an ethnic group already on the fringe of the gay male community. Really Logo? You couldn’t find one representation of the Asian community for this?

Also, the biggest body in the group could maybe classified as a petite cub. We wanted at least one big grizzly bear but they are nowhere to be found. Daniel Franzese is probably rolling his eyes somewhere.

Hopefully, Logo isn’t showing their cards just yet and they have some queer surprises around the corner – like an underground sex party where the suitors have to guess whose dick is inside them or a drag competition where the suitors have to do their best Judy Garland impersonation in a swimming pool while wearing glitter

The queerest and most interesting moment I have heard thus far is that New York’s suitor, Chad, owns a parrot. See more from his interview below:

He is cute! We def want to see more of Chad.

Other than Chad’s bird, the whole thing seems pretty normal. And normal gets you nowhere. Regardless, we still will be watching – at least the first episode.
