The annual Aqua Party is now the centerpiece of Fire Island’s all-new Spray Weekend.

The Aqua Party has been raising money for international water projects for the past four years, and this year it’s wetter than ever. With the annual Ascension beach party’s move to Mykonos, Aqua has become August’s biggest event on Fire Island, and this year travel company ShareGurl has built an entire weekend of parties around it. Spray Weekend launches August 15, and ShareGurl co-founder Raf Kuhn says attendees can expect “good music, high energy silliness, and production elements that engage our guests and encourage them to let loose.”

Proceeds raised at the annual Aqua Party benefit the Ali Forney Center and The Water Project, which works to keep water clean in Kenya and around the world. DJs Cast & Claux, Gabe Manzon, and Jared Conner will have you slipping and sliding all evening. 2pm–8pm; $40.

SPRAY BEACH PARTY

Freemasons spin this new beach party. Proceeds benefit the Trinity Place Shelter for homeless LGBTQ youth. Noon–6pm; $75 in advance/$99 general admission/$139 VIP.
