The Vinoy Park Hotel

When it comes to your hotel stay in St. Pete, The Vinoy should be at the top of your list. This iconic hotel beams beautifully in pink as the landmark resort and spa that many would be first to recommend. Its Mediterranean style architecture is the perfect compliment to the flawless resort grounds that will welcome you. Gold chandeliers and bright colors light up the lobby of the hotel that is known for its large guest rooms, stunning water views and 5 restaurant options. Any gay would love it here.

While this may cost a bit more than the Vinoy, this 1920s-inspired hotel is another great option. Centrally located, The Birchwood lights up a 5-story building and is the proud home to Birch and Vine, (you’ll read more about this below) one of the best restaurants in the city. Your selfies will be epic at this hotel!

Gays love brunch. You will be hard pressed to find a better one in St. Pete than at The Mill. Here is where you will find all your brunch favorites along with some creative options like the Graham Cracker and Pecan Pancakes and the Watermelon Bruschetta.

Perfect lunch destination for daytime drinking with your buds. Kick back and enjoy a Cuban sandwich and a mojito as you take in the sun on the stunning outdoor deck.

We told you that we would come back to this one. Located at the Birchwood hotel, this restaurant is perfect for lunch or dinner. With lamb meatball appetizers, steak tacos to die for and a goat cheese flat bread, you’ll find plenty of delicious options here to excite your taste buds. Lots of healthy options too so you can keep your six pack intact.

With great 2-4-1 deals daily until 9pm and a laundry list of events weekly, this is the gay bar to attend in the St. Pete/Clearwater area. Open until 3am, Enigma does a great job of encompassing all the things that make Downtown St. Pete a fun and welcoming place to visit. In summary, this is an affordable cocktail bar with a cozy dance floor and hopefully some cute men if you’re looking.
Flamingo Resort

This LGBT friendly resort can be fun for people watching, day drinking or an interesting night on the down. Its poolside bar and entertainment along with a ton of interesting characters and personalities make a stop at the Flamingo Resort a must.

If you’re looking to add some culture to your trip, the Museum of Fine Arts is the perfect remedy. Open year round, this is a museum that you can explore for hours as you get lost in fine art. Be sure to check out the Museum Store before leaving for some cool trinkets.
Beach It Up
