Avan Lava call themselves “New York City’s freshest super-pop act to come out since Madonna,” so what better way to kick off the month than with the band’s March 2 show at Music Hall of Williamsburg. On the 13th, head to Mercury Lounge for a dose of British electro pop from Bright Light Bright Light. Sky Ferreira plays Bowery Ballroom on March 20, while Lisa Loeb and Nine Stories takes the stage at Highline Ballroom and ‘90s glam rockers Orgy play Webster Hall. Sky Ferreira plays Music Hall of Williamsburg on the 21st, and on the 22nd, P!nk plays Madison Square Garden, while Garbage rocks Terminal 5. March 25 sees Sigur Ros at Madison Square Garden and Parenthetical Girls at Glasslands. Parenthetical Girls play their second date at Bowery Electric on the 26th, while British singer-songwriter Kate Nash plays Bowery Ballroom before hitting Music Hall of Williamsburg
