This week’s TBT is dedicated to two icons of pop music who met backstage at a Nokia 5800 launch party in London. What is a Nokia?
The icons are Paris Hilton and Lady Gaga. One of the best parts is when Hilton poses with a phone on the red carpet, prooving she can make anything look hot. Hilton is a modern day Barbara Walters here, asking Gaga the real tough questions like inspiration.
“I am very very inspired by my friends, New York City, the art scene in the Lower East Side, and the 70’s and David Bowie and Studio 54 and media culture and obsessesion with fame,” Gaga replies.
The other great sound byte is when Gaga praises Hilton’s “Stars Are Blind” as one of the greatest pop records. Ever.
