Upper East Sider Casimir & Co (1022 Lexington Ave, 212-879-6190, CasimirNYC.com), recently launched a new lunch. The French bistro’s chalkboard menu includes classic Chicken Paillard, signature L’Entrecôte steak, hearts of palm “fettuccine” and toothsome tableside tartare. We love the proud, strutting cock in the window!

The Fourth (132 Fourth Ave, 212-432-1324, TheFourthNY.com) in Union Square is a little bit E.Vill shabby and a little bit urban chic set in a soaring space. The European brasserie features three areas: an espresso café, a communal dining area with a bar and an elevated formal dining room.

Tiny Fork (167 Orchard St, 212-777-8469, TinyForkNYC.com) had a big opening recently, forking over oysters (with or without caviar), chilly lobster rolls, beer-battered lobster tails and Dungeness crab cakes.

Executive Chef Missy Robbins flew away from both A Voce restaurants in NoMad and UWS in early May. No word yet as to where she’ll land next.

The milk train doesn’t stop any more at Joe’s Dairy on Sullivan Street, which closed last month after 60 years. The cheesemonger’s wholesale business will still continue to supply sandwich spots and restaurants with the much-loved brand.

Word has it that The Writing Room (1703 Second Ave) will be the next chapter for the storied location of Elaine’s that shuttered last year. Not sure if Woody Allen will still make jazzy appearances.
