The big blow-out dance party for Urban Bear Weekend, Honey At Large, was at music venue The Cutting Room for the first time ever. Lots of bears and their admirers gathered at this lumberjack ball.
May 15, 2016: Shawn Paul Mazur and Matthew Gagnon’s renowned rooftop rager returned Sunday for another season in the shadow of the Empire State. Go-gos Stephen, Lexi, and David were looking real cute with DJ Vito Fun spinning danceable beats that kept the chilly but packed crowd warm.
May 14, 2016: For the first time ever, Trade Saturdays moved upstairs to the main room of Space Ibiza with DJs Brett Henrichsen (NYC) and Alexander (LA) behind the turntables. There was a line most of the night as lots of eye candy clammored to make their way into the massive dance hall.
May 15, 2016: The Urban Bear Weekend culminated with the popular Street Fair where lots of beefy, burly men swarmed onto the unassuming block of Little West 12th Street. From pie eating contests and beer belly offs, a portion of the day’s proceeds benefitted Freedom for All Americans.
May 13, 2016: The boys of Bad Apple Boylesque celebrated Friday the 13th right with their monthly installment of this raucous and wild burlesque show. Co-hosted by Marti Gould Cummings and Don Chipotle, the packed house enjoyed performances by Apollo Dioni, Castor Bollocks, Bobby Fishnets, Jackie Nova, Justin Sideyoo, KNasty, Milo Pony, and What The Chuck.
May 11, 2016: Urban Bear Weekend Powered By Scruff kicked off at a packed Julius’ Bar and Grill with beefy boys, cheap booze, and burgers. The crowd gathered early gearing up for a fun and furry weekend ahead.
