How To: Pick A Perfect Frock for Night of a Thousand Gowns
Tips for selecting your ideal gown from the ladies of the Imperial Court of New York.

The Imperial Court of New York’s annual benefit gala, Night of a Thousand Gowns, is one of the most glamorous events of the spring. Here’s the thing though: we know it can be tough to switch from thinking about leather gear for Black Party weekend to lace and chiffon in one week. Luckily, a few of the most honorable ladies of the ICNY have some tips to offer for picking a gown that will really make a statement.
1. Pick the right shoe:

2. Don’t be afraid to be bold:
“The Dowager Empress suggests taking a bold color, and adding jewels, feathers and ruffles to go way over the top.
